SUPPLEMENTARY DESIGN SERVICES

Some projects may require extra scope or coordination beyond what we typically include in our “Basic Design Services.” Many of these types of coordination can be difficult to accurately estimate at the start of a project, so we classify these as “Supplementary Services,“ and bill for them on an hourly basis. If we know one of these services is necessary from the outset, we will include it in our proposal. They can also be requested during the design process.

These include:

• Preparation and filing of Landmarks Preservation Commission applications

• Building management approvals and neighbor relations

• Vendor coordination & order assistance for owner provided materials

• AV design & home automation

• Security systems and keyless entry

• Custom decorative lighting (standard lighting package included in Basic Services)

• Landscaping & Site Improvements

• Excavation

• Structural masonry rehabilitation

• Roof decks and vegetated roofs

• Passive energy systems and energy modelling

• Passive House and/or LEED Certification

• Backup Generator, special electrical systems

• Temporary or Final Certificate of Occupancy (Alt1 applications only)
