BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN, NY

Putnam Apartment, located in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant, is a gut renovation that revived a formerly dilapidated garden apartment. The renovation reconfigured the apartment, moving the kitchen and bathroom to the center of the unit, allowing for 1 ½ bedrooms on the rear of the brownstone. The project reconstructed the original opening to the exterior garden, and incorporated entirely new electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
